吉米·哈利（James Herriot 1916年10月3日－1995年2月23日）是一位在英国与美国知名的兽医作家，原名是吉米·艾非德·怀特James Alfred Wight，以简写Alf知名。他出生于英格兰的桑格兰郡，并在格拉斯哥长大，到23岁时成为了一名兽医，并搬到英格兰约克郡中的瑟斯克镇上工作。他以描述自己一生的兽医系列故事（包括二次大战时在英国空军服役的经过等）闻名。
他的系列书籍含有许多趣味性浓厚的畜牧农人故事，描述了北英格兰约克郡乡人与动物百态，以及兽医业近代化的过程，使他大受欢迎，在1995年他去世时，英美出版界公认他是少数几位能在英国和美国长期畅销的作家之一，他的书籍今日已被拍成两部电影，和英国BBC频道的热门影集，并影响了后世的兽医文学。
