作者简介
黄树民，1945年生，祖籍广东，成长于台湾嘉义。国立台湾大学人类学系毕业后，赴美留学，取得密西根州立大学人类学系博士学位。现任专职教授。出版有《农业的萎缩――台湾农村社区制度之变迁》（英文，1981年美国大学出版社出版）等著作及学术论文。目前从事研究地区包括台湾、福建及山东农村地区。
译者素兰，台湾政治大学外交系毕业，现任专职翻译。

乡下人和城里人不一样，对男女关系的态度比较有弹性。乡下多的是黑暗的角落可供男女幽会。而且村里不同姓的人也多，年轻男女可以在村里找对象。我们乡下人不像城里人，把婚前性关系或外遇看的那么重。只要这种关系不要超过大队要求的年生育率目标，也不要造成家庭失和就好了
