梅丽·麦金农（Mairi Mackinnon）不仅是一名童书作家，也是编辑和翻译。在已出版的几十部作品中，“Usborne Very First Reading”和“First Thousand Words”等系列广受喜爱。梅丽·麦金农出生在英格兰，成长于苏格兰，大学时期在西班牙主修法语与意大利语。目前她定居伦敦，和丈夫、三个孩子以及几千册书生活在一起。
